Rusty grew up in a family of masons, carpenters, and electricians. He has also spent the past 5+ years honing his skills as a home inspector. Rusty understands the importance of continual learning, which is why he’s joined two of the industry’s most well-known and respected organizations. This gives him access to regular continuing education courses.

Outside the Box Thinking

From a young age, Rusty was taught the importance of having a strong work ethic and utilizing outside the box thinking. After spending his entire childhood around family members who are masons, electricians, and carpenters, he knew that serving others in a similar way was his calling.

While at school for mechanical engineering, Rusty took a job as an Associate Inspector. He instantly fell in love with inspecting homes and decided to focus his educational pursuits on becoming a licensed home inspector. After completing his home inspection education and training, he passed the state licensing test and launched his own local business.

Outside of his business credentials and experience, Rusty Starr is a devoted family man who always puts the needs of his family first. He’s also an avid disc golf player who enjoys visiting the course several times a month.
